Meet The Teachers of Engineering For Kids of Central DuPage County
Hello, my name is Rita! I have a MBA and BS in Telecommunications. My career has been focused on design, programming, implementation and training of software in many industries. I have taught software engineering and management skills to young people throughout my life and helped them to achieve rewarding and successful careers. Engineering For Kids allows me to introduce Science, Technology, Engineering and Math to children from the young age of 4 in a FUN and hands-on environment. I am passionate about working with children (including my 5 grandchildren!). Being a women in technology, I am excited to encourage girls to embrace STEM and pursue careers in these rewarding areas.
Hi! My name is Miss Jen. I have a knack for making a connection with children and children love me (especially the quiet or busy-body kiddos). My method of teaching is through the heart. I feel that the most complex of subjects (STEM) is absorbed in a child's eyes through FUN. My background is extensive (my 3 kids!). No matter what age or range your child is, I will patiently help them excel to the next level with our hand-on classes. SMILE, HAVE FUN, and LEARN!
Hi. I'm Evan and I'm a class favorite. Patience is my middle name and instructing is my game. I have an extensive background in IT, so please find me at a SCRATCH, Electronic Game Design or Minecraft classes and camps. I am most passionate about the technology classes at EFK, and am excited to see your little engineer in progress!
Hi, my name is Sabrina. I am currently a student at Loyola University of Chicago on the Pre-Med track. As a biology major, I'm taking many STEM classes such as physics, calculus, organic chemistry and many life sciences. My goal in working for Engineering For Kids is to help your children practice problem solving and learn many STEM concepts, while having FUN and being excited to learn. I am passionate about science and math. Most importantly, I'm great at working with children!
