Junior Playful Playground
In this P.A. day, students will become mechanical engineers that have been hired to design the ultimate automated playground in their community. Playgrounds are packed full of simple machines such as levers, wheels and axles, inclined planes, and pulleys.

Minecraft Theme Park
This P.A. Day will have students build their very own Minecraft amusement parks! Students will have to navigate several engineering and teamwork challenges to do so. Students will draft blueprints and plans for their parks on paper before beginning to create them in Minecraft to make it as much like the process of designing a real amusement park as possible.

Let’s Make Toys Camp
Playing with toys is fun. Playing with toys you made is more fun! Using simple materials, innovation, and your imagination, create one mechanical toy to take home and build and code a robotic toy. Learn about engineering, problem solving, energy, and motion while making your very own toys.

Minecraft Theme Park Camp
Delivered in partnership with Engineering for Kids, What’s more fun than an amusement park? Designing your own 3D one! Make your model come to life by building a working amusement park in Minecraft! Then learn about the engineering process as you design different mechanical machines such as roller coaster.

Playful Playground Engineering Camp
In this camp, students will become mechanical engineers that have been hired to design the ultimate playground in their community. Playgrounds are packed full of simple machines such as levers, wheels and axles, inclined planes, and pulleys. In these lessons, students will learn about the simple machines they encounter every day at the playground while advancing their literacy skills through a variety of read aloud. They will tackle fun and engaging challenges while using the EFK Engineering Design Process. We can’t wait to play!

Minecraft Design: Urban Innovations
Design, create, and make your very own city come alive using Minecraft! In this camp, kids will explore a variety of themes centered around scientific, sustainable, innovative, and futuristic city planning and design. Kids will immerse themselves in Minecraft while applying the Engineering for Kids design process to create a model of their very own, futuristic, sustainable city.

Minecraft Design: Mission To Mars
Campers learn about the engineering, technology, and innovation that is required for future human habitation of Mars. Within Minecraft, students will complete a variety of missions that are necessary for survival and the advancement of science on the Red Planet. Students will apply their creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving skills while completing missions within EFK’s unique, customized, collaborative Mission to Mars Minecraft Map. This is a one-of-a-kind, out-of-this-world experience you will not find anywhere else.
