How to Book a Birthday Party

  1. Choose your location (Our Learning Center, your home, or other location)
  2. Select a date and time
  3. Choose a STEM Party Package
  4. Choose an Engineering Party Theme
  5. Call or email us to reserve your party date/time

Party Packages (At time of deposit reservation is confirmed)

Isaac Newton | $175

Includes:
  • 1 - 60 minute STEM activity for 10 party guests (Additional children at $10/child)
  • 30 minutes for party fun (cake, gifts, singing, etc.)
  • 2 party instructors
  • Access to Birthday Party Room for 2 hours (30 minutes decorating plus 1.5 hour party)

Thomas Edison | $225

Includes:
  • 1 - 60 minute STEM activity for 10 party guests (Additional children at $12/child)
  • 1 - 30 minute engineering add-on activity

Robotics: Robo Battle

Main Activity:

Sumobots - In this activity, party guests will be Robotic Engineers to design and build battle robots capable of pushing the opponent’s robot outside of the Sumo Ring utilizing various sensors and LEGO® pieces.

Dragster Race

Main Activity:

Custom Dragster - In this activity party guests will be Mechanical Engineers to experience the challenge of building an air-powered vehicle that is incredibly aerodynamic. Guests will then race their pneumatically driven dragster head-to-head to determine the fastest dragster.

Minecraft Madness

Main Activity:

MinecraftEdu: Escape from Everest Students wake up from a 200 year sleep under the summit of Mt. Everest, now the only dry place on earth. Students will work together to discover why they are there, and what needs to be done to signal the human race, who has long since evacuated earth to head to the stars. Students will balance the needs of the ecosystem while engineering a way to build a rocket to signal humans in space. Teamwork and planning is key to help the human race

Playful Polymers

Main Activity:

Fantastic Flub - In this activity, party guests will be Chemical Engineers by combining liquids and a solid to make a polymer: Flub. In addition, guests will explore "Oobleck" and its properties as a non-Newtonian fluid.

Get Wired with MakeyMakey

Main Activity:

Whack-a-Mole/Celery Piano - In this activity, party guests will be Hardware Engineers by using a MakeyMakey device. Through application of circuitry guests discover new ways to interact with technology. Guests potatoes to play a classic game "Whack-a-Mole" and play the piano using celery as keys.

Blast Off Rockets

Main Activity:

3...2...1...Blast Off! - In this activity, party guests will be Aerospace Engineers by designing, building, and launching their own pneumatically driven Straw Rocket. Bottle Rockets are available for home parties, weather permitting.

Add-On Activities:

Secret Inkers - Spies use secret messages to make contact and to share information. In this activity, party guests write their own spy messages and use chemical engineering to uncover the message and discover the secrets found within.

Blimp Blitz - During the Civil War, blimps were used as spying devices. In this activity, guests design their own blimp and work to make it neutrally buoyant so that it can float at the ideal altitude to spy on the enemy.

Ice Cream Factory - Modern chefs are all about blending the science and art of food. In this activity, party guests become molecular gastronomists as they whip up fresh ice cream with science and engineering, not a freezer. (Age 7+)

Worms in Dirt - Everyone loves a sweet treat, even plants! In this activity, party guests create their own tasty soil. Yum! (Don’t worry. Instead of dirt and rocks, we’ll use pudding and cookies.) Get ready to dig in!

Mining Mountains - Guests use cookies to explore the environmental risks associated with mining. Cookies can be eaten after the activity.

MakeyMakey/Whack-a-Mole - Through application of circuitry guests discover new ways to interact with technology. Guests use potatoes to play a classic game "Whack-a-Mole."
