Engineering For Kids® brings the wonder and excitement of STEM education (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) to children ages 4-14 through a variety of hands-on learning experiences. Design a hot air balloon, build rockets, battle robots and design your own video games! All of this is possible with Engineering For Kids®!

At Engineering for Kids, our programs help children improve critical thinking and problem solving skills, inspire creativity and foster independent "out of the box" thinking. Each program is designed to offer an exciting, HANDS-ON experience that encourages collaboration and teamwork among classmates.

Junior Engineering Discovery

In Junior Engineering Discovery, students will have the chance to explore a variety of engineering disciplines. From Mechanical Engineering, students will build a magical boomerang can to learn about potential and kinetic energy. They will explore Aerospace Engineering by designing, building and testing their own straw rockets. During their Civil Engineering exploration, students will get to build their own bridges made from delicious candy and will design skyscrapers using various materials. They will also have the opportunity to explore different crazy concoctions from Chemical Engineering & MORE!

Ages: 4-7

EV3 Robotics da Vinci's Designs

During the da Vinci's Designs robotics program, students will use LEGO Mindstorms to find viable solutions to some of the same challenges that Leonardo da Vinci was once faced with. These "ancient" real-world problems include making a mobile bridge, the perfect siege machine, and even creating a masterpiece of art like the Mona Lisa.

Ages: 7-12

Jr Robotics: Amazing Mechanisms

This program is a perfect mixture of fun and learning, using LEGO® WeDo™ Robots. Using LEGO® bricks, students build an airplane rescue, a giant escape, and a sailboat storm. They also learn how to program and operate their creations using a laptop computer.

Coding Games in Scratch

Programming and coding are becoming necessary skills for various fields of engineering. Scratch is the computer programming language that makes it easy and fun to create interactive stories, games and animations. Students in “Coding Games in Scratch” will be introduced to coding and develop programming skills by designing and developing simple and fun video games using laptops and Scratch programming software. No previous programming knowledge needed!
