Engineering for Kids works with local churches, community centers, libraries, recreation centers, and others to provide programs that are open to the public! These can be:

Jr. Camp Kelvin AM:

Pack your bags and lace up your hiking boots engineers, because we are engineering designs to help us explore the great outdoors. Students will build a tent, design waterproof clothing, engineer your own survival pack and more!

LEGO WeDo Robotics Move it ,move it PM:

This camp is designed to introduce students to the concepts of robotics, automation, programming, an the Engineering Design Process. Robots come in a variety of shapes, and sizes, and are each designed for unique tasks. The nature of this task can range from lifting simple objects to cleaning up large-scale natural disasters. The students will make race cars, helicopters, flood gates, trucks, and more.


Apprentice Minecraft Galactic Crafting: AM:

is designed to introduce students to the concepts of electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, and the Engineering Design Process. Students will walk away from this class with a basic understanding of how potential moon bases could be designed and some of the difficulties presented in space travel.

Amazing Race: PM:

Pack your bags, engineers, and get ready for an adventure! Students will carefully engineer vehicles that can traverse the most treacherous terrains, brave the highest seas, and soar above the clouds! Over the next five days teams will have to work together to see who is able to travel the farthest around the world. This trek around the world will require students to design their very own boat, plane, and even a rocket!

At Engineering For Kids, our camps are carefully structured to provide your child with the enrichment he or she needs to grow and thrive. Our camps run in the spring, winter, and summer for your convenience. Our programs come in many varieties to accommodate your schedule, such as half-day camps, full-day camps, and holiday break camps. We also host camps on scheduled days off for reasons such as professional work days, teacher conference days, etc.
