Building Cities

From the ground up, Cities will rise as our young engineers get to work!

Do you have what it takes to engineer a magnificent city from an inhabitable environment? During this camp, students form their very own construction crew and work together as a team to build a city from the ground up. Crews design essential urban structures, develop processes to purify water and generate their own power. Join up with a crew to compete in challenges that test the strength of your designs in Building Cities.

MinecraftEDU

Turn your clocks back to the Medieval times through the fun game of MINECRAFTEDU!

Kids are introduced to the many uses of Redstone through a Medieval themed adventure of creation, exploration, and castle besieging. The young engineers will construct mine cart tracks to help them gather resources as they work together to build and defend their kingdom.

The Amazing Race / Agent of Travel

Pack your bags and let's map out our trip around the world!

111 years ago, airplanes had not even made their first flight, yet today we can fly to the other side of the world in 12 hours! Over the next five days, teams will work together to see who can travel the farthest around the world. This trip around the world will require students to design their very own boat, plane, and even a rocket!

Robotic Olympics (EV3 Mindstorms)

Warm-up your bots - The Robot Olympics are in Calgary!

Olympics curriculum will introduce students to the concepts of building and programming robots in a FUN & competitive way.

Ages 4 - 7

Junior Inventors

A week of fun, creativity, and of course -- engineering!

Over the course of a week, students will invent new machines and explore creative design solutions using the Engineering Design Process. Discover how a wind-up toy works and design your own drawing robot inside the Engineering For Kids Inventor’s Workshop.

Junior Robotics: Amusement Park

Let the young engineers loose as they build the coolest Lego® Amusement Park!

Kids will explore the basic concepts of simple machines and how we use them to achieve even our most grandiose goals! Students will use LEGO® WeDo construction and resource kits to produce new and exciting builds that will be used to create Kelvin’s Amusement Park.

Junior Robotics: Wild Animals

Let's explore the jungle and discover the coolest animals together!

This class is a perfect mixture of fun and learning, using LEGO® WeDo™ Robots. Using LEGO® bricks, students build a hungry alligator, a flying bird, and a roaring lion. They also learn how to program and operate their creations.
