Engineering For Kids of Calgary
We hope everyone is doing well and keeping safe and welcome to our June virtual STEM programs. We are offering App Development, robotics, coding, hands-on engineering, and more!
Each STEM program is 8 to 10 classes of Robotics, Coding, and Engineering fun.
Kids connect LIVE with the teacher via Zoom 2 to 3 times a week, 40 minutes a session. We will record each lesson in case you miss a class or need to
review the content. Students will work on projects and assignments after the live session is done. They can showcase their work to the other students during the next session. Siblings are more than welcome to join in, as we are not charging per child unless more material is required from us.

Junior Engineers (Ages 4 – 7)
Tuesday and Thursday
Kids will explore the fascinating world of Engineering. We will cover topics such as civil, mechanical, chemical engineering, and more. Materials should be easy to find at home or the local store, otherwise, we will provide it. For more information about the lessons and material, please click HERE!
Apprentice Engineers (Ages 8 – 14)
Tuesday and Thursday
Kids will explore the fascinating world of Engineering. We will cover topics such as civil, mechanical, electrical engineering and more. Junior Coding & Digital Storytelling (Ages 4 – 7)
Tuesday and Thursday
Do you love telling stories, sharing ideas, and creating games? This is YOUR program! If you can imagine it, you can build it!
Kids utilize Scratch Junior to learn the basics of coding and build their own characters, scenes and bring them to life through interactive stories and games. Solve logic problems and master coding basics. Best of all, since Scratch Jr is a free app, you can create your own account and keep working on your project at home even after the program is over!
App Development using JavaScript (Ages 8 – 14)
Tuesday and Thursday
Join this unique experience in which you get to code in JavaScript, test, and create your own apps in real-time using an easy-to-understand format. The best part about this is that they will be able to save their created apps right to their (or your own) devices for play anywhere, anytime!
Junior Robotics with Edison (Ages 4 – 7)
Monday, Wednesday, Friday
Kids will explore the fascinating world of robotics using Edison Robots. $100 Deposit for the robot is required before class starts, it will be refunded at the end of the session when returned and tested.
Python Coding (Ages 8 – 15)
Monday, Wednesday, Friday
Kids will learn Python coding using a unique platform that allows them to explore Python projects like never before.
Sphero Robotics (Ages 8 – 14)
Monday, Wednesday, Friday
Kids will explore the world of robotics and coding using Sphero Edu. $175 Deposit is required for the robot, it will be refunded when the robot is returned and tested.
Virtual Robotics and Coding (Ages 9 – 15)
Monday, Wednesday, Friday
